The Role

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Job Summary
Responsible for establishing and customizing new customer deployments and expansion projects and helping customers integrate our solutions with a wide variety of other systems, including other ad serving systems, financial systems, and video players past the initial implementation. Communicate with customers and partners frequently, and determine solutions to any complex integration problems that may arise. Serves as the main nexus between technical and business solutions teams. Acts as a technical expert in own area within the organization. May work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. Provides mentoring and guidance to more junior team members. May be responsible for leading a team, but does not directly manage people.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities

  • Acts as the nexus for all client design solutions; delegating tasks where appropriate to solutions engineers, interfacing with product management team to drive the feature release process, and coordinating the designs of both technology and business processes.
  • Highly preferred Comcast Advertising experience in FreeWheel
  • Will become a subject-matter expert in FreeWheel's HyLDA (Hybrid Linear Digital Ad-Scheduler) and Core Ad Server (MRM) products
  • Design integration strategies for industry standard specifications such as VAST, oRTB, SCTE-224, BXF, SCTE-35, HLS, MPEG-Dash
  • Manages large, complex projects with Enterprise level clients.
  • Delivers technical product training to clients and team members, as required.
  • Possesses and maintains the business acumen to anticipate future trends, competitive landscape, understand how organizations generates profits and manages cost and translate market knowledge into business opportunities.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions for processes to be more efficient and cost-effective.
  • Accompanies sales team members to client meetings and presents/demos the system and serves as technical subject matter expert.
  • Completes projects with next-generation products or services (Charter project, GTM Initiative, or unique client project).
  • Synthesizes new solutions to previously unforeseen client needs or product/service through innovative designs.
  • Demonstrates strategic understanding and rationale for design choices.
  • Develops and shares best practices across the organization.
  • Mentors more junior members of the department.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $155,969.22 - $233,953.82
Additional Range: This job can be performed in Colorado with a Pay Range of $142,971.78 - $233,953.82
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
