Job Description
Travel Coordinator
Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Looking for the perfect role to apply your professional travel experience? Our Travel Coordinator This position will be responsible for supporting business practices regarding our Global Travel and Business Expense function. This is a relatively new role at CSC and the identified candidate will support the design and deployment of effective corporate travel and expense policies, process and procedures. You will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from booking tickets to reconciling expenses to ensuring travel safety and program compliance on an as-needed basis.
Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Respond to emails from travelers seeking assistance with travel arrangements and expense reconciliation.
  • Support all travel arrangements (air, lodgings, group bookings etc.) and operations.
  • Managing relationships with company personnel, travel agencies, third party suppliers
  • Support the negotiation and implementation after award management of Travel service providers.
  • Interfaces with all levels of CSC functions and organizations to facilitate delivery of travel management and expense products and services.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of credit card programs and charges.
  • Audit, review and processing of expense reports for documentation and compliance with the T&E policy. reports and handle reimbursements as required.
  • Reports and ensure compliance in all aspects of travel policy, process, or procedures.
  • Support the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement of travel programs.
  • Assist in developing training guides to Provide individual training to employee participants.
  • Interprets CSC's global corporate travel and expense policy, escalates non-compliance.

Additional tasks may include:

  • Resolves, responds to and proactively anticipates needs and concerns and initiates actions for problem resolution.
  • Evaluates products, services and processes against industry standards and norms to validate existing service offerings and identify best practices to drive continuous improvements.
  • Communicates any changes that may impact company personnel.
  • Analyzes data and generates visual metrics to support business requirements utilizing system reports for metrics.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Strong Customer Service skills and the ability to adjust communication styles to reflect the audience. Ability to read an organization chart.
  • Quantitative analytical skills including proclivity for working with numbers, reports, and data.
  • Knowledge of Concur Travel and Expense, Egencia, corporate card program and/or A Systems aptitude will be imperative to support understand and use the systems and programs that support the Travel and Expense program process.
  • Willingness to become proficient with but also understand that systems have limitations and do not always account for unanticipated variables and evolving trends. Good judgment will be key.
  • The ability to think globally and strategically, with a perspective of the business beyond current state.
  • Microsoft Products including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook experience required.
