SilkRoad is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to work out of the Chicago office.  We are looking for successful sales professionals to prospect and grow an assigned account base. Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties: 

 

  • Documenting prospecting activities and providing accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Providing general sales support to outside sales partners.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts throughout the sales process.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
Required Skills

  • Proficiency in the operation of computers and applications.

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Inside Sales experience for software products and/or services.
  • Experience in uncovering opportunities, building and managing a consistent pipeline and closing direct sales opportunities.
  • Experience in prospecting and sales lead generation.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota.
