SilkRoad technology is a leading hosted software solutions provider, and is seeking a top candidate to join our Training team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the ongoing training of SilkRoad's ever-expanding customer base. This is a highly visible role with a focus on customer service, communication, and understanding each client's unique needs, and is crucial to SilkRoad's success.
SilkRoad is seeking a self-motivated Product Trainer / Instructional Designer to meet the needs of our growing user base. This is a high visibility position with responsibility for instructing both customers and internal team members of varying levels and working as part of a team to design and develop new courses and documentation. This person may work remotely, but candidates will be required to be located within driving distance of a major international airport.
Our ideal candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct formal instructor led classes both onsite and online to a wide variety of audiences for the SilkRoad products;
- Design, develop, and record video content with durations of 30 seconds to 30 minutes;
- Develop and update course material for new and existing company products, solutions, and services in a collaborative team environment using instructional design methodologies;
- Develop and instruct customized instructor-led and webinar courses as required for internal, partner and customer audiences;
- Develop and maintain online learning course library;
- Deliver professional customer service to all current and potential clients.
- Facilitation/Presentation skills or related experience such as prior experience delivering and developing IT training.
- Ability to rapidly create video content.

- Ability to travel as required, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate adult training, including technical training experience;
- Demonstrated professional public speaking and presentation skills;
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Human Resources field;
- PHR or SPHR Certification.
