The Project Coordinator will help to coordinate the execution of project- and product-related tasks across departments. Specific tasks include coordinating schedules, balance feature and business needs between various departments and stakeholders, and planning project timelines. Ideal candidates will be organized, responsible, and communicative.
Essential Qualifications:
- Understanding of agile methodology, particularly Scrum
- Knowledge of Jira, or a similar project/task management system
- Experience developing project timelines
- Must be able to work independently
What You'll be doing:
- Helping coordinate execution of priorities from backlog
- Acting as a go-to resource for status on in-progress needs
- Planning project timelines
- Coordinating feature and business needs between various departments
- Help prioritize incoming needs and tickets, deflecting distractions and figuring out what the impacts are on sprint tasks
- Ensuring project resources are on-task, prevent task drift
- Coordinating dependencies between both departments and resources
- Coordinating schedules and meetings
- Facilitating the documentation of plans/coordinating involvement
- Coordinating priorities with stakeholders
- Filtering and sanitizing requests as they are inbound into a department
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years project management experience with a digital product
- Bachelorâs Degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
