Senior Benefits Analyst
Senior Benefits Analyst
Reporting to: Benefits Manager
As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you know that benefits are complicated, but that doesn't phase you! You will be the go to subject matter expert for Enova’s Benefits plans as well as support annual compensation related projects. In addition to being technically and functionally savvy, you will stay on top of industry trends and changes, enabling Enova to remain competitive and innovative.
What You'll Do Here:
- Be A Subject Matter Expert:
- You will administer global (US and UK) employee benefits including; 401(k) and nonqualified retirement plans, Health and Welfare core, voluntary, and executive benefits plans.
- You’ll act as a liaison between various stakeholders and vendors, such as HR Business Partners, outsourced benefits and payroll providers and legal counsel, to ensure plans are compliant and mitigate risk. Understanding the needs of our internal stakeholders is critical to fostering strong internal relationships.
- Assist in federal, state and government regulatory filings and processes (i.e., 5500s, SARs, audits, non-discrimination testing, etc.)
- Lead Projects:
- You won't be doing the same thing every single day. Instead, we want to make significant changes and plan upgrades over the next few years and you will be an important part of that process by leading projects that research, evaluate, and propose the future of our Benefits programs. You will also coordinate annual events, such as annual enrollment, health fairs, wellness events, etc.
- Another dynamic side of this role resides in compensation. We are looking for someone who is eager to assist on various projects with our Compensation Manager such as short term incentive plans, surveys, annual compensation planning, and our total rewards statement.
- Communicate, Communicate, Communicate:
- While we're always looking towards the future, we also have to effectively communicate all the awesome benefits we already provide. This is done by developing and delivering strong communication plans and training programs for our employees as well as keeping the information updated and accessible.
- Always Be Problem Solving:
- Live our "Customer First" value by having a strong focus on responsiveness and customer satisfaction. Create positive relationships with both internal and external clients while assisting them with requests and complex problem resolution. You will research, evaluate and suggest ways to improve our internal processes to reduce cost and keep us innovative.
What We Need From You:
- BA in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high demand, high output Benefits role with exposure to Compensation practices
- Know your way around Excel; especially the ability to manipulate data using pivot tables and formulas
- Experience creating compelling and effective communications through email campaigns, in person presentations, and printed material
Stuff We Really Like, But Don't Require:
- Working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and ADA
- Workday experience
- Prior compensation experience including calculation of STI bonus payments and preparing total rewards statements
