Senior Manager, Revenue Operations
Tegus’ RevOps team is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations to drive strategy, and handle the “big think” projects that establish the framework for the future. This is a highly analytical role that will provide the context, and insights that affect key philosophies around TAM, business performance, and org strategy.
You will work on everything from the highly strategic to the operational; implementing and maintaining executive reporting for our senior leadership and board of directors. You will help establish the decision making frameworks and project manage the implementation of key and novel initiatives in our go to market strategy like, building headcount modeling and territory planning, horizontal, vertical and regional market expansions. You will be seen as the key business partner for Revenue Leadership, and you will support the medium and long term project initiatives of Revenue Operations management. You will partner closely with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Enablement, Revenue Systems (SFDC), Finance, and other roles to ensure the broader organization is communicating effectively and working collaboratively.
This role will be accountable for driving productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, scalability, and continual enhancements for customer-facing teams as we enable revenue growth. An ideal candidate will be highly analytical, self-driven, collaborative, and strategic.
Responsibilities
- Be a strong cross-functional leader and engage with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience leadership to ensure alignment and effective execution of revenue strategies.
- Own and drive a handful of long-term change management initiatives each year. This will involve a mixture of project management skills, communication and presentation skills, strong collaboration across departments, and the initiative to push projects to completion.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to manage, and analyze quota attainment and forecasting.
- Analyze, report, and present key business data. This includes creating key recurring reports (MBRs, QBRs, Attainment Reporting, etc) as well as facilitating meetings and presenting back findings.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Work closely with sales management to inspect the sales cycle, understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies, and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and improve analytics and reporting frameworks to track key sales metrics and trends. Develop and refine team-specific dashboards for enhanced visibility into pipeline performance, sales trends, productivity and overall efficiency. Enable sales leaders to act on data by providing actionable insights into pipeline generation, progression, win/loss rates by segment, and attainment of revenue targets.
- Partner with Finance to manage, reconcile, and deliver consistent, timely and accurate commissions for Sales, Business Development, Customer Success and Revenue Leadership.
- Lead Territory planning and sales segmentation alongside Revenue leadership, and own all Territory management execution.
- Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Leaders and field reps to understand challenges and opportunities for productivity improvements, then lead performance improvement initiatives from start to finish.
- Effectively communicate with senior leadership, providing regular updates on sales operations metrics, strategic insights, and improvement recommendations. Drive analyses, frame business problems, and communicate insights with a bias towards action.
- Coordinate with revenue operations teammates on systems and process improvements for the sales organization.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in an Sales/Revenue Operations, FP&A, or Management Consulting role
- Experience preparing presentations and insights for board level reporting
- Experience in a dynamic, hyper growth environment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA
- Experience with territory planning, management and preparation
- Experience with vendor review, management and budget proposals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Autonomous, self driven, and able to thrive in ambiguity
