SUMMARY:
At ItemMaster, we are building an Ownership culture. We are accountable. We ask for help when we need it – we unconditionally support our colleagues. And we come to work everyday prepared to do better today than we did yesterday. We are continuously learning. We are trailblazers with hope for the future and a plan to get us there. We need a Senior People Advisor that will help us embed these beliefs in the way we work and in the overall employee experience.
The Senior People Advisor will partner with our Head of People to advance our mission of being one of the best places to work in Chicago. The ideal candidate is an passionate, energetic, early-to-mid career professional that is inspired by the opportunity to be on the vanguard of shaping the culture of one of Chicago’s most promising technology start-ups. You will be a key partner on the overall People and Culture agenda at IM, but you will specifically lead on IM’s employee on-boarding experience, team-building and engagement, and talent development.
You should be creative but also incredibly disciplined. You should be accountable but also capable of holding others to account, even if it’s uncomfortable. You are a collaborative problem solver and facilitator. IM is spread across multiple locations, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, and California, so you should be adept at virtual working and familiar with approaches for connecting a distributed workforce.
We
have a PEO provider, which manages our benefits, payroll, and
employee relations, however a portion of your work will be in that
space. You don’t have to be an expert, however, and this role could
be a great way to build your generalist cred, if that’s of
interest. The main focus is definitely on culture and talent.
This
is an awesome opportunity with great potential for future growth.
Join our team! We need you!
