Software Consultant
Strata Decision’s StrataJazz product is currently the dominant product in the market. Hospitals around the country are using StrataJazz to make decisions that will help them to run more efficiently, and ultimately provide better care. The customized solutions Strata Decision delivers have been made possible by a dedicated and brilliant team of consultants and technical analysts. As part of this team, you’ll have a significant impact on future client success and play a pivot role in ensuring the client has a robust and rich experience with Strata Decision’s products. Within the first 6 months, you’ll be working with clients, contributing to the support process, contributing to the technical implementation of the systems, and contributing to the enhancement of Strata Decision’s overall company operations.
As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and use StrataJazz within integrated health systems and hospitals.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
- Manage, analyze, and lead healthcare organization executives in projects to restructure their business processes and cultures to optimize decision-making and planning
- Utilize financial, business, and organization models to develop better analyses
- Communicate complex analyses to clients and colleagues
- Analyze corporate culture to determine the business requirements to support enhanced information processing
- Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan the implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system
- Consult with technical staff to develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems
- Assess training needs, update training materials, provide onsite and web-based client training
- Predict and measure the outcome of software implementations at client sites
- Develop ongoing analyses for upgrades and new functionality
- Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine implementation configuration
Education and Experience:
- B.S. degree or foreign academic equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science with a 3.3 – 4.0 GPA
- Professional and/or academic background in SQL and relational database concepts
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of financial concepts, including financial statement analysis
- Ability to respond to client needs as they arise
- A drive to learn quickly and constantly adapt to new challenges
- Strong self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary
