Training Specialist
Reporting to: Talent Development Manager
Location: Gurnee & Chicago
Our Talent Development teams:
Our trainers are responsible for creating and partnering with the business to deliver best in class product, process and skills training to new and existing coworkers. Trainers meet with department heads, directors and product managers to ensure training meets the needs of the business and is regularly enhanced.

Enova is currently searching for a bright, energetic, and creative Training Specialist; problem-solvers, self-directors and action-oriented thinkers are required. Candidates will be expected to foster relations with stakeholders, bring innovative ideas to our training processes, and drive key initiatives throughout the organization.
Areas of focus:
- Design, coordinate and execute call center/operations and corporate training programs.
- Teach coworkers product specific information and develop their customer service skills.
- Facilitate professional development focused programs.
- Perform regular quality control and analyses, and update training materials, internal training websites, and other resources as needed.
- Successfully liaise with other departments to determine training needs.
- Prepare and report goals and accomplishments for the training area with management.
- Perform additional projects as required by management.
You’re right for this job if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Communication studies, Business studies, Psychology or a related field.
- At least two years previous professional training experience in a high demand, high output role with a proven record of success and accomplishment.
- Knowledge of needs analysis and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and using strong facilitation skills.
- Ability to evaluate a learners learning style and identify development needs.
- Experience working with on-line and web-based learning development, delivery, and learning management tools. (e.g. Articulate, Web-Ex, etc)
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to be flexible with work schedule at times and willing to occasionally work early morning or night hours to support the company’s international presence.
- This person’s home base will be out of our Gurnee office but will require to work from our Chicago office up to 25% of their time.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
