The Department: Gemini Investment Solutions

Gemini Investment Solutions is one of the fastest growing teams at Gemini. We serve as a platform for the institutional investing side of the business and are addressing a multi-trillion dollar market opportunity. Our core team recently joined via strategic acquisition and are positioned to play a critical role in Gemini’s mission with best-in-class technology solutions and investment products.

The Role: Business Development, BITRIA

Transforming finance and empowering the individual through crypto is a deeply human pursuit. In Business Development you’ll be involved in sales strategy and operations, manage the account lifecycle from prospect to close, and partner with our best-in-industry Customer Success team to build long-lasting relationships with customers that range from innovative startups to leading firms. In addition to CS, you’ll partner closely with marketing, product, and leadership to better understand our target market and grow our pool of addressable AUM.

The candidate must have 6+ years experience closing business in either the Asset Management, Fintech, or Enterprise SaaS space. Ideally, this person has experience and a passion for building territories from scratch, rather than upselling existing customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote lead generation activities for both outbound and inbound contacts 
  • Work with other go-to-market teams to organize demand generation activities within your given account list.
  • Handle customer pitches, company overviews and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Manage pipeline reporting and sales forecasting along with  other sales operations responsibilities. 
  • Interact with internal Gemini teams to improve processes. 
  • Manage the due diligence process for GIS prospective and existing clients.
  • Continually evaluate operational process to identify inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions leveraging product teams.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience working within either Financial Services or Enterprise Software Platform sales
  • Experience  selling to C-level executives and/or department leaders
  • History of meeting & exceeding quarterly and annual quotas
  • Success in building a territory by adding new clients, not managing existing accounts
  • Experience being part of a collaborative / team selling process
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, reports and dashboards
