Primary Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will plan and direct the development and execution of sales, strategy, and planning across the Alternate Channels. This sales leader will also develop key sales initiatives, establish strategy and goals and cultivate business development opportunities, and manage key profit drivers to achieve financial goals. Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute on new and existing sales plans and programs ensuring the performance and profitability across multiple channels
  • Identify and execute against new and existing business development opportunities
  • Increase sales by developing strategic plans and managing to profitable execution
  • Ongoing sales plan development, assessment, analysis, and execution specific to the channels of responsibility
  • Develop sales team to drive results and establish commercial processes
  • Manage budgets for the assigned business units
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend paths forward to address these activities
  • Work with a sense of urgency towards projects and priorities
  • Communicate and collaborate with other KeHE functional areas to meet all company objectives
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all KeHE employees
  • Attend professional meetings, trade shows and seminars
  • Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and safeguards of confidential company information

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required
  • Minimum ten (10) or more years in Grocery Retail or Grocery eCommerce channels. Five years in a supervisory or management role required

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strength in communications, conducting effective meetings or presentations and strong negotiation skills
  • P&L Responsibility
  • Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including some weekends if needed
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals, establish credibility and contribute to a collaborative work environment, including leading a team and interacting with all levels of an organization
