Sr. Director, Market Strategy Media Vertical

The Market Strategy leader for the Media Vertical, will work with Media Vertical leadership to develop, refine, and execute on, the strategic priorities for the vertical and ensure alignment with the broader TransUnion and U.S. Markets strategies.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, finance, business management, or similar (preferably also an MBA)
- 8 or more years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, or corporate strategy
- Experience in media, advertising, marketing technology, or similar industry
- Experience working with and presenting to senior-level managers and executives
- Ability and willingness to travel 15-20% of the time for client meetings and industry conferences
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and a high degree of comfort managing multiple projects

Impact You'll Make:
- Leading and directly contributing to the process of creating and documenting the strategy and operating plan for the vertical developed as part of the Three Year Planning process.
- Leading the preparation for monthly line-of-business review meetings which includes being up to speed on monthly financial reporting and revenue forecasts.
- Prioritizing, designing, and executing market/competitive diligence projects that feed into strategic decisions.
- Uncovering and vetting potential partners and/or acquisition candidates that support the vertical’s growth initiatives.
- Becoming an expert on the needs and plans of our key customers and prospects and translating those needs into business strategy ideas and business cases (across topics areas including: macro-economic impacts, regulatory impacts, disruptive innovations, industry specific trends, etc.).
- Leading the development and execution of a client advisory board.
- Representing TU and the Media Vertical as a thought leader at conferences and with clients/prospects
