Maybe you miss going to music festivals or maybe you just want to see your favorite celebrities live and unfiltered, Cameo has something to fill the social distancing void.

The Chicago-based startup Cameo is hosting a three-day virtual live-streamed fundraising event called Cameo Cares. The event will feature appearances from famous musicians, athletes, actors and more, who will livestream themselves talking about previous work, have lip sync battles, tell jokes or even teach you how to make spaghetti tacos.

The virtual event started on Thursday and will continue until Saturday. Each day will feature 30-minute-plus time slots where celebrities can talk about a certain topic or engage in a certain activity. You can watch the livestream at any point during the event by going on to the Cameo website or visiting the designated YouTube stream.

Cameo is a startup that allows people to book celebrities of varying degrees of fame — everyone from Snoop Dogg to the supporting cast of Tiger King — to send personalized messages to whoever they want. The company, which launched in 2017, has attracted an impressively large network of celebrities, which gives it the ability to host a star-studded event like this one.

The company is donating the proceeds from its bookings during Cameo Cares to charities working to address problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Supported charities include No Kid Hungry, the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, The Actors Fund and more.

Alternatively, Cameo will let you donate directly to these charities here.
