Back in November, ARES appointed Ryan Kubacki as its new CEO following the retirement of the company’s founder Richard Stuart. Stuart started the company in 1995 and took it international in 2007. He remained at the helm of the company until his recent retirement. Kubacki is a Chicago-area native and served in serval leadership roles at various tech companies, including Microsoft and Flexera Software, before joining ARES PRISM.

The company’s new headquarters is located at 55 Shuman Blvd., Naperville, and currently houses the majority of the senior executive team, according to a company spokesperson.

“Myself and our CRO, Kurt Kauper, are Naperville natives. I often joke that this area is ‘Silicon Prairie.’ It really is a great location to source talent. It’s also easily accessible as a hub for all of our teams in the states, as well as our international team members,” Kubacki told Built In over email about the location of the company’s new headquarters.

With its new headquarters, the company is also looking to hire 20 new, local team members for leadership roles and positions in the sales, development and marketing departments. ARES currently has just under 100 employees.
