Code Academy is a beginner focused, hands-on course to learn Web Design & Web Development in the heart of Chicago. We offer beginners the chance to learn Ruby on Rails with the goal of building and launching their own apps by the end of 3-months. In less than a year, Code Academy has bootstrapped its way to over $1M in revenue.Over 170 students have completed Code Academy in less than 9 months, from over 20 states and 8 countries around the world. We're now averaging 80 students a quarter spread across 4 different course offerings and are on pace to teach 300+ beginners web design and development this year alone. Today we have alumni working as apprentices and entry-level developers with companies such as Groupon, Enova, 8th Light, DevMynd, Braintree, Kohactive, Doejo, and Trunk Club to name a few.
