Provides administrative and clinical coordination support for the Division of Nephrology. Schedules appointments, procedures, testing, and complex multi-department visits; obtains medical records, referrals, insurance information, and prior authorizations; manages patient service work queues; and serves as a liaison among patients, families, providers, and clinical teams. Requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, discretion, and customer service skills.

Manages pediatric graduate medical education and fellowship programs, including staff supervision, accreditation compliance, ACGME reporting, evaluations, credentialing, budgets, orientations, certifications, and policy development. Coordinates with department leadership, governing organizations, faculty, community practices, and medical education coordinators to maintain effective and compliant training operations.

Coordinate regulatory activities for clinical trials in genetics (rare disorders). Manage IRB submissions, amendments, adverse event reporting, compliance tracking, and sponsor/CRO communications. Provide regulatory guidance, training, and documentation to research staff and create compliance reports to improve processes.

Coordinates and manages clinical research studies including IRB and sponsor submissions, regulatory compliance, participant recruitment and consent, specimen collection and data capture, study visits and monitoring, inventory and billing support, data abstraction and codebook development, and representing research at meetings.

Lead and perform compliance monitoring and audits of human subjects research; interpret regulations; develop policies, quality standards, and CAPA plans; report findings, train staff, and support regulatory inspection readiness.

The Attending Physician will conduct examinations on children, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and provide parental guidance on health and wellness, advocating for patients and staying updated with pediatric practices.

Manage employee relations programs including investigations of harassment/discrimination, coach leaders, ensure legal and policy compliance, develop ER policies and training, analyze trends and metrics, and partner with Legal and Compliance to resolve escalated workplace issues.

Provide immediate clinical coverage for assigned service, coordinate patient care, perform supervised procedures, document care in the medical record, and collaborate with attending physicians. Must adhere to service and customer-service standards and perform other assigned duties.

Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with medical or surgical conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Integrate psychosocial care into multidisciplinary teams, supervise and teach trainees, engage in scholarly activities and program development, maintain clinical documentation, and participate in rounds, case conferences, and continuing education.

Provide immediate patient care coverage for assigned clinical service, coordinate care, perform supervised procedures, document care in medical records, and collaborate with attending physicians. Respond to patient needs during rotating shifts and perform other duties as assigned.

Performs pediatric CT imaging procedures, ensuring image quality, data accuracy, radiation safety, and timely patient flow. Maintains certifications and CT technical knowledge, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, completes modality QC, documents contrast and results in EPIC/PACS, and supports patient care in an acute, level I trauma setting.

Assist orthopedic surgeons and staff in applying/removing casts, splints, dressings; perform dressing changes and suture/staple/pin removal with aseptic technique; manage ordering, inventory, and maintenance of orthopedic supplies and equipment; document care in EMR/paper charts; train residents/students and support clinic procedures across primary and satellite outpatient locations.

Implement, validate, and maintain application security controls across database, middleware, web, API, and presentation layers. Identify and remediate application-layer risks, assess internet-facing exposures, enforce auth/credentials/encryption standards, coordinate with vendors and application owners, and drive remediation using vulnerability scanning and security testing. Improve application security posture and governance across a large portfolio of commercial third‑party applications.

Manage daily ophthalmology ambulatory operations, oversee staffing and scheduling, ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance, drive process improvement, manage budgeting and payroll, recruit and develop staff, and serve as clinical and operational leader supporting high-quality pediatric patient care.

Define and standardize revenue cycle communications; write and edit policies, SOPs, workflows, training guides, job aids, and presentations. Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership and information management, create workflow diagrams, lead content reviews, support strategic planning and annual documentation reviews, and ensure accurate, audience-appropriate materials.

Coordinates and manages pediatric neurosurgery clinical research studies, ensuring regulatory compliance (IRB, sponsor), participant recruitment and consent, specimen collection and processing, study visit coordination, data abstraction and QA/QC, maintenance of regulatory binders, supplies management, and assistance with study billing and reporting. Acts as primary patient liaison and supports investigator meetings and conference representation.

Lead end-to-end Information Management projects, including Epic EMR implementations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, budgets, schedules, risk/issue resolution, change management, and transition to sustainment. Provide PMO leadership, maintain departmental IM standards, and liaise with executives, vendors, and operational owners to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, wired/wireless, VoIP/PBX) across campus. support network appliances, perform capacity planning, document procedures, complete help desk tickets, liaise with vendors, and assume on-call data center responsibilities.

Lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise voice infrastructure and applications (VoIP, PBX, call center). Supervise and mentor team members, manage projects, maintain cabling/IDF/datacenter elements, handle vendor liaison, service desk tickets, on-call duties, and document procedures and performance monitoring.

Designs, implements, and supports enterprise campus network infrastructure (routers, switches, wired/wireless). Mentors junior staff, manages projects, maintains standards and roadmaps, performs troubleshooting and capacity planning, coordinates with security and vendors, documents procedures, and handles on-call responsibilities.
