Represent Base before the Illinois General Assembly, building legislative relationships and coalitions, monitoring and advocating on bills, drafting testimony, and translating energy policy developments into business guidance. The role develops Illinois legislative strategy, promotes technology-friendly grid policies, and aligns state efforts with national priorities. It requires strong lobbying, public speaking, communication, independent execution, and the ability to explain complex energy concepts to policymakers.

Define operational parameters and build systems to scale battery deployments with utility partners. Own deployment pipeline from signed deal to Permission to Operate, coordinate interconnections and inspections, troubleshoot operational issues, run feasibility studies, maintain CRM deal hygiene, and develop field procedures and automations to streamline deployments.
