Provides technical consulting for Broadcom mainframe infrastructure and open-systems integration solutions. Advises enterprise customers, models and implements hybrid architectures, leads demonstrations and proofs of concept, configures and tunes infrastructure software, troubleshoots complex integration issues, and delivers technical specifications and knowledge transfer. Requires expertise in z/OS, mainframe systems programming, Zowe, APIs, scripting, and cross-platform integration, along with strong customer communication and advisory skills.

Advise enterprise customers, implement and optimize Broadcom mainframe software solutions, and modernize Endevor-based DevOps lifecycle management. Lead technical discovery, solution modeling, integrations, demonstrations, trials, proofs of concept, deployments, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Partner with account teams and customer stakeholders to translate requirements into architectures and actionable improvements. Frequent technical communication and client-site travel are required.

Plans, installs, upgrades, maintains, and troubleshoots IBM z/OS, Broadcom, and third-party mainframe software across multiple Sysplexes and LPARs. The role supports government clients, disaster recovery testing, change control, compliance, root-cause analysis, and off-hours maintenance. It also documents implementation plans, coordinates ITSM approvals, resolves vendor issues, and mentors government employees and junior technical staff. An active Secret clearance and recent CompTIA certification are required.

Lead planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of technical consulting projects. Serve as primary client contact, apply project governance, manage scope/staffing/invoicing, mitigate risks, and deliver large or complex mainframe/open-systems IT projects on time and on budget.

Designs and develops advanced blended learning, curriculum, and performance-support content for mainframe and DevOps education. Conducts needs and task analyses, collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders, manages vendors, validates learning effectiveness, and coordinates learning-system implementation. Serves as a technical expert for mainframe products, supports curriculum roadmaps and sales opportunities, and develops software environments for training content.

Provides senior-level technical consulting for mainframe infrastructure environments and Broadcom Software products. Responsibilities include solution architecture, product implementation and upgrades, integrations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, troubleshooting, technical documentation, customer presentations, and post-implementation support. The consultant advises clients and management on infrastructure strategies and works with account teams to design solutions. Requires expertise in z/OS, Broadcom mainframe tools, REXX or HLASM, and major mainframe subsystems and security managers. Client-site travel is required.

Manage Broadcom’s online product, education, and private validation communities, including moderation, access permissions, ideation programs, and customer feedback. Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Support, Marketing, and Education teams to drive adoption, engagement, and retention. Analyze community metrics, promote training and events, manage customer recognition initiatives, and protect private validation activities and customer data.

Lead strategic programs that proactively engage enterprise technical-support customers, improve product adoption and satisfaction, reduce avoidable support interactions, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Analyze support trends and operational data, develop scalable engagement and enablement initiatives, establish success metrics, coordinate cross-functional execution, and present insights to leadership. Build repeatable frameworks and continuously refine programs using customer feedback and performance analysis.

Provide technical support for Mainframe Storage Management software: troubleshoot complex issues using logs/traces/debugging, reproduce problems in lab environments, coordinate with Development on defects, manage escalations and on-call rotations, document and share KCS knowledge, and advise customers on configuration and upgrades.

Design, develop, and execute validation and verification tests for mainframe applications. Build and maintain test automation pipelines in CI/CD, assess coverage, automate tasks via scripting, and collaborate within Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Design, build, test, and debug mainframe security and compliance software on z/OS using IBM Assembler (HLASM). Collaborate in Agile with product teams, automate tasks, modernize enterprise mainframe solutions, and support/debug production systems.

Provide technical support for Broadcom mainframe products (Endevor/Zowe), troubleshoot complex customer issues, analyze logs, recreate problems in lab environments, share KCS knowledge, mentor junior engineers, participate in scrum and product quality activities, and occasionally travel/on-call as required.

Lead product marketing strategy and execution for mainframe software solutions. Develop ABM and product marketing plans, create customer-facing content and sales enablement tools, define competitive positioning, partner with product and sales, analyze product/account performance, and support analyst relations and industry events.
