Manage BUILD's government grant portfolio by prospecting, writing and submitting proposals, tracking deadlines and compliance, coordinating budgets with finance, supporting site visits, and reporting to program leadership.

Part-time garden specialist supporting urban farming and food-access programs. Maintain garden plots, teach hands-on gardening to youth and community members, manage supplies and records, conduct outreach and recruit participants, and collaborate with staff and partners to integrate gardening initiatives into broader community programs.

Manage grants-related bookkeeping and accounting to ensure GAAP-compliant financial records, support reporting and audits, improve processes and automation, collaborate with Grants Monitor and Program Directors, reconcile accounts, and meet deadlines while maintaining detailed documentation.

Support post-award grant administration, maintain grant files and databases, coordinate internal/external communications, assist with grant writing, reporting, and prospect research to secure funding.

Provide school- and community-based mentorship to at-risk youth: conduct intakes/assessments, collaborate with therapists, mediate disputes, deliver curriculum, make referrals, attend school meetings, document outcomes, and represent BUILD in community engagement. Requires regular travel and compliance with background screening.
