The Sales Manager develops and executes sales strategies for a sports complex, generates and converts leads, manages customer relationships, leads the Sales and Events team, and drives revenue growth. Responsibilities include event sales, contract management, surface utilization, marketing coordination, sales reporting, collections, market analysis, and compliance with sales processes. The role requires sports or recreation sales experience, leadership, negotiation, budgeting, organizational, and customer relationship skills.

Manages administrative operations for two sports complexes, including employee onboarding, workplace health and safety, accounting support, payroll submissions, invoicing, receivables, payments, financial reporting, and sales contract administration. Serves as a contact for employees and supports customer bookings. The role also includes manager-on-duty shifts and working across the Lake Barrington and Libertyville locations as business needs require.

Coordinates recreational multi-sport league operations, including collecting fees, preparing schedules, maintaining statistics systems, enforcing waivers and suspensions, supporting prizes, and communicating with teams, referees, timekeepers, spectators, and facility management. The role requires strong sports knowledge, customer service, organization, communication, computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
