Lead and build the company’s clinical data management function from the ground up. Responsibilities include developing data management strategies and plans, overseeing CROs and vendors, designing and testing EDC databases, creating edit checks, managing data cleaning and reconciliation, coordinating medical coding, leading database locks, and ensuring compliance with GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, privacy regulations, and inspection-readiness standards.

Manages day-to-day delivery of one or more ophthalmology clinical trials from startup through close-out. Oversees timelines, risk mitigation, CROs, vendors, sites, enrollment, monitoring, data quality, budgets, GCP compliance, and Trial Master File readiness. Partners with Medical, Data, Regulatory, and program leadership while reporting study status and resolving issues. The role requires independent execution, strong cross-functional communication, and operational oversight in a resource-lean environment.

Lead operational delivery of ophthalmology clinical trials from startup through closeout, overseeing timelines, quality, budgets, CROs, vendors, sites, monitoring, regulatory support, GCP compliance, and inspection readiness. Develop scalable SOPs, systems, and workflows; coordinate cross-functional teams; report risks and progress to leadership; and help build the Development Operations function and team.
