As an OB/GYN Physician, you'll provide direct patient care, serve as a specialist consultant, and participate in on-call rotations while ensuring compliance with medical standards.

Manage and coordinate the WIC program, supervise and train departmental staff, ensure compliance with Illinois and federal WIC policies, develop and update policies/protocols, evaluate operations and client satisfaction, liaise with other departments/agencies, and implement staff training to maintain program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Manage and track patient referrals within the EHR, obtain authorizations and insurance info, schedule appointments, follow up with specialists, maintain referral/provider lists, update patient instructions (English/Spanish), and support performance improvement initiatives.

Partner with leadership to drive full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, benefits administration, HR policy and compliance, training, and employee/labor relations to support organizational goals.

Provide nutritional assessment, counseling, and education to pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to five. Determine eligibility, assign supplemental food packages, monitor progress, promote breastfeeding, run individual/group education and outreach, and support program enrollment and community events.
