Manage and track patient referrals within the EHR, obtain authorizations and insurance info, schedule appointments, follow up with specialists, maintain referral/provider lists, update patient instructions (English/Spanish), and support performance improvement initiatives.

Manage and coordinate the WIC program, supervise and train departmental staff, ensure compliance with Illinois and federal WIC policies, develop and update policies/protocols, evaluate operations and client satisfaction, liaise with other departments/agencies, and implement staff training to maintain program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Partner with leadership to drive full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, benefits administration, HR policy and compliance, training, and employee/labor relations to support organizational goals.

Provide high-quality obstetrical and postnatal nursing care, develop individualized care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary teams and referrals, track appointments and follow-up on abnormal labs, and support delivery planning and newborn/family education.
