The role also handles resident communication, administrative tasks, leasing and retention support, and backup property management duties.

Manage resident certifications and recertifications for HUD, LIHTC, IHDA programs from initiation to completion, maintain accurate resident files, verify third-party documentation, support audits and reporting, handle EIV/TRACS records, assist property operations and provide backup for the Property Manager as needed.

Lead sourcing, underwriting, and structuring of attainable and affordable housing investments. Drive proprietary deal flow through outreach, build stakeholder relationships, perform financial modeling and underwriting, prepare investment memos, support portfolio and investor reporting, coordinate with public partners, and track impact metrics to preserve and scale affordable housing investments.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Property Manager for two communities: greet residents, handle calls, assist with leasing and move-ins, process rent and deposits, manage resident files and compliance, coordinate maintenance work orders, maintain waiting lists, and support marketing and community engagement.

Support regulatory compliance for affordable housing portfolios by conducting file audits, preparing agency documents, monitoring regulatory updates, training site staff, assisting with MORs and inspections, maintaining compliance procedures, and tracking corrective actions.
