Don’t Get It Twisted

When Chris Bodmer isn’t busy “squadding up” with his kids while playing Fortnite, he is building bonds on the product team. Bodmer credits the Finix value of “open, honest and direct communication” with enabling collaboration among employees. His vision for the team incorporates a balance between short-term deliverables and steady progress on long-term strategy. The product organization serves as a customer ambassador while setting up the engineering team for success. The work keeps him on his toes, as the payments space is “complex, continuously changing and full of regional differences.”

Tami Lin was drawn in the moment she met with the Finix team. The interview atmosphere was comfortable and felt like a productive work session — they even taught her a few new concepts. Since joining the team, she hasn’t stopped learning. She dabbles in a variety of subjects through her work, and appreciates the upfront communication policy, which enables her to ask higher-ups for feedback. She is particularly grateful to have worked on projects with different tech stacks that have allowed her to fine-tune her strengths, identify weaknesses and determine what she enjoys the most.
