Connectivity Is Key

As a leader, Seiter is happy when Hologrammers are engaged in high-leverage work, contributing to the culture and connecting to Hologram’s mission. To help them accomplish those goals, Seiter and her team offer unlimited coaching to supplement a culture that stands on healthy and supportive feedback. “We want Hologrammers to do the best work of their career with us,” Seiter said. To really achieve a workplace that fosters strong work, Seiter lives the company’s values and aims to demonstrate them every day — including by owning up when she misses the mark.

Yen’s team supports connectivity in more than 180 countries, and its large-scale projects are cross-functional. The product must work for everything from infrastructure sensors to healthcare products, and it must be easy to understand, use and teach. That means Hologram’s product team needs to be cross-functional, too. All Hologrammers have a chance to contribute to the product development process. Team members from customer success, design and engineering, to name a few, identify issues during the ideation phase and gather feedback from end users to build the strongest product possible.
