Ten-week IT Support Internship assisting a Tier 2 Application Support team with cloud-based insurance systems, including Duck Creek and Hyland OnBase. Responsibilities include participating in process improvement projects, documenting processes, tracking work, supporting operational activities, learning IT service delivery practices, and collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Supports business units using enterprise systems, assists with training materials and job aids, researches issue resolutions, prepares release notes, troubleshoots system issues, and supports service desk projects. Reviews, investigates, resolves, and negotiates complex surety and construction bond claims, including performance defaults, payment claims, subdivision bonds, and commercial bonds. Drafts agreements and claim documentation, analyzes financial exposure, recommends reserves and payments, manages litigation and salvage recovery, supervises outside counsel, collaborates with underwriters, and leads staff development and performance management.

Handle management liability claims (EPL, D&O, fiduciary, crime) for private and non-profit clients: investigate, analyze coverage, manage defense counsel, negotiate/reserve settlements, prepare reports, and maintain adjuster licensure while supporting underwriting and recovery efforts.

Manage complex Management Liability claims (EPL, D&O, Fiduciary, Crime) for private and non-profit clients. Investigate, analyze coverage, set reserves, direct defense counsel, attend mediations/trials, prepare reports, pursue recoveries, and support underwriting and business partners. Maintain required adjuster licenses and comply with policies.

Lead planning and delivery of large, cross-functional enterprise data programs. Establish Agile program governance, manage JIRA-based tracking and reporting, coordinate dependencies across teams, drive executive communication and change management, identify and mitigate risks, and continuously improve program processes and tooling.

Provide day-to-day customer service and support to underwriters, agents, and principals. Enter new and renewal business into rating systems, process endorsements, renewals, audits, cancellations, and non-renewals. Maintain bond/account files, prepare client correspondence and monthly reports, submit and test IT programming requests, and assist with training and process improvements.

Design, build, and maintain automation and IaC for Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Automate identity, licensing, Teams/Exchange/SharePoint workflows using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell. Implement and operate Azure services, Entra ID, Windows Server, and ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

Partner with senior leaders to drive people strategy, org design, workforce planning, talent and succession, and change leadership. Provide counsel on employee relations, performance management, and organizational health; use data to guide decisions; simplify HR processes and partner with HR Operations/COEs to enable strategic outcomes and improve leader capability and talent retention.

Gather and document business and data requirements, translate needs into functional specs and source-to-target mappings, write SQL to profile and validate data, interpret Duck Creek policy XML and map to Insights tables, collaborate with developers/data engineers, support data quality/governance and reporting, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and assist support teams with data issue analysis.

Provide day-to-day customer service and operational support for surety underwriting: enter new and renewal business, process endorsements/renewals/cancellations, maintain bond/account files, prepare reports and communications, coordinate with agents and underwriters, submit and test IT programming requests, train teammates, and ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping to support account retention and service standards.

Lead and manage an in-house legal team handling high-exposure first-party and third-party coverage and extra-contractual litigation nationwide. Provide coverage opinions, regulatory compliance guidance, litigation strategy, oversee outside counsel, respond to regulatory audits and Department of Insurance complaints, develop policies and training, and report to senior management while collaborating with Claims, Underwriting, and other business units.

Lead design and execution of enterprise talent strategies—talent reviews, succession planning, leadership and high-potential development, career pathways, talent analytics, and change management—partnering with HRBPs, leaders, and HR Technology to drive adoption and measure impact.

Manage the companys most complex commercial liability claims (construction defect, general liability, auto/trucking) with high financial exposure. Oversee investigations, experts, defense counsel, litigation strategy, reserves, subrogation, and stakeholder communications. Ensure coverage analysis, settlement negotiations, and compliance with reporting and licensing requirements.

Lead and scale infrastructure engineering and architecture teams to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud, networking, compute, storage, backup, and monitoring solutions. Drive disciplined execution, operational handoffs, financial planning, and continuous improvement while partnering with security and business stakeholders to align infrastructure work to business outcomes.
