Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for electric utility equipment, review protection and control designs, support relay testing remotely, model systems using power simulation software, and prepare technical documentation and calculations. The role also includes mentoring engineers, supporting continuous improvement, and managing assignments within budget and schedule.

Designs and oversees physical distribution and transmission substation projects, including drawings, grounding, illumination, lightning protection, load studies, bills of materials, and engineering deliverables. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and utilities; supports site visits and constructability reviews; ensures QA/QC and compliance with IEEE, NESC, NEC, and utility standards. Mentors junior staff and contributes to project planning and continuous technical improvement.

Designs distribution and transmission substation physical systems, including layouts, grounding, conduit, lighting, lightning protection, control cubicles, and electrical details. Performs AC load, illumination, grounding, and lightning shielding studies; develops bills of materials; coordinates multidisciplinary deliverables; supports clients, site visits, and constructability reviews; ensures QA/QC and code compliance; and mentors junior staff.

Lead and manage consulting engagements delivering power market analysis, price forecasts, asset valuations, transaction support, and strategic advisory. Oversee modeling (PROMOD, PSLF, PLEXOS, Aurora), mentor staff, manage client relationships, drive business development, publish thought leadership, and contribute to proprietary forecasting and analytical tools across U.S. power markets and technologies including renewables, storage, transmission, and large loads.
