Develop and own production software controlling and calibrating neutral-atom quantum computers. Build backend services, control frameworks, scientific data pipelines, CI/CD systems, and containerized deployments. Debug the full control stack from embedded kernels through distributed services, collaborate closely with physicists and hardware engineers, and create tooling for experiments, real-time image analysis, and object detection.

Develop scalable, high-performance RTL and embedded processing systems for quantum computing applications. Build MBSE tools, APIs, data models, visualizations, and orchestration capabilities; create HPC- and GPU-enabled simulations, optimization, digital twins, and machine-learning workflows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary scientists and engineers to validate models, improve manufacturability, and deliver maintainable production software using rigorous engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Manage a portfolio of complex quantum software and computing projects as a cohesive program. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources, managing schedules, budgets, costs, risks, subcontractors, staffing, deliverables, and communications. The role supports proposals and contracts, develops project plans, tracks milestones, manages scope and change, engages technical leaders, contributes to forecasts and roadmaps, and represents the company to external stakeholders. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Design, develop, and maintain quantum compilation software connecting quantum circuits, error-correction systems, and hardware control. Build interfaces, intermediate representations, validation and simulation tools, and circuit-to-control translations. Conduct research in fault-tolerant quantum computing, collaborate with physicists and control engineers, deploy software to a cloud platform, and contribute to testing, documentation, proposals, publications, and team mentorship.

Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between quantum computing software and cloud, HPC, AI, scientific, and enterprise platforms. Build APIs, SDK integrations, plugins, workflow connectors, and hybrid quantum-classical workflows. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on architectures, prototypes, documentation, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment. Support reliable access to quantum resources within existing computational environments while contributing to software architecture and product roadmaps.

Design, build, maintain, and optimize quantum compilation software for the Superstaq cloud platform. Conduct quantum computing R&D, collaborate with physicists and software engineers across the quantum stack, support customers, contribute to proposals and global programs, publish research, present at conferences, and guide teammates.

Design and optimize quantum error-correcting codes and protocols for experimental gate-based quantum computers, especially neutral atom platforms. Develop mathematical models, numerical simulations, and custom decoders; analyze and mitigate quantum-system noise; and collaborate with physicists and software engineers on practical implementation. The role also involves publishing and presenting research, tracking advances in quantum error correction, supporting teammates, and contributing to productization efforts.

Conduct R&D in quantum optimization for energy grid problems, write and test quantum code, collaborate with experimentalists and external partners, contribute to proposals, publish research, mentor team members, and run simulations and hardware experiments applying quantum algorithms to grid optimization.
