Supervises and mentors Skill Advancement Coaches, facilitates reflective practice, monitors coaching fidelity and performance, and supports professional development. The role coordinates with statewide leadership, CQI, and program teams; provides coaching to child welfare supervisors; promotes trauma-informed, healing-centered, and motivational interviewing approaches; and reviews program data to support reporting, continuous quality improvement, and alignment with DCFS priorities.

Leads the hospital’s IT, plant operations, and security functions. Oversees technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, EHR availability, facilities maintenance, medical equipment, physical security, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, capital projects, budgets, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams. Ensures business continuity, safe facility operations, information protection, accreditation readiness, and effective response to emergencies and security incidents.

Provides comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for children from birth through young adulthood, including acute care, preventive health, chronic disease management, developmental assessment, treatment planning, patient education, and clinical outcome monitoring. Collaborates with nurse case managers, social workers, dietitians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care for medically complex patients and their families. Serves as a pediatric clinical resource, informal leader, and community educator.

Provide trauma-informed psychological services to patients, families; includes therapy, assessments, consultation with medical teams, and supervision of interns.

Lead and manage billing and coding teams, oversee revenue cycle operations and KPIs, ensure Illinois Medicaid and pediatric billing compliance, manage transition from Meditech/Athena to Epic (Resolute), handle denial management, reporting, audits, and liaise between clinical and finance teams.

Provides medical nutrition therapy to pediatric inpatient and outpatient patients with chronic diseases, including premature infants, cerebral palsy, and diabetes. Conducts nutrition assessments, monitors growth and laboratory data, manages enteral and parenteral nutrition, supports TPN therapy, counsels families, participates in multidisciplinary care, educates clinical staff, and assists with specialized diets, formulas, and feeding challenges.

Perform general and portable radiography and EKGs, process and transmit images, ensure patient positioning and safety, maintain department records and equipment, respond to on-call/STAT x-rays, and maintain required certifications and licenses.

Manage all plant operations for a 49-bed pediatric hospital including maintenance, engineering, life safety, water management, infection control for construction projects, vendor/biomed oversight, budgeting, preventive maintenance, staff training, and 24-hour facility coverage to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe environment.
