Leads the customer and project journey for capital equipment installations, from order release through commissioning and acceptance. Oversees Project Management, Final Assurance, and Quality while coordinating Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Field Service. Owns project predictability, customer escalations, margin performance, change orders, handoffs, continuous improvement, and leadership development across customer-facing functions.

Evaluates customer RFQs and specifications, determines suitable equipment configurations, creates conceptual layouts in AutoCAD, calculates space, flow, production rates, and projected costs, and prepares accurate quotations and proposal documents. Collaborates with engineering, sales, product management, production, and supply chain teams to develop customer solutions, validate concepts, support project kickoffs, and provide field sales support. May travel as required and operate equipment across multiple product lines.

Leads the enterprise transformation and continuous improvement agenda, managing the Transformation Office, integrated roadmap, governance, scorecards, financial benefit validation, executive reviews, and cross-functional initiatives. Applies Lean and structured problem-solving methods across manufacturing and transactional operations, coaches leaders, removes barriers, and embeds sustainable improvements tied to revenue, margin, cost, cash, customer, and operating outcomes.

Responsible for selling packaging equipment and promotional programs across a Southeast territory via direct and distributor sales. Grow accounts, train distributor personnel, implement sales strategy, manage order specifications and internal paperwork, and coordinate with support teams. Extensive travel required.

Develop and program PLC and HMI controls for packaging machinery, design electrical schematics and BOMs in AutoCAD Electrical, specify components, lead projects through FAT and customer acceptance, ensure UL/CE/CSA compliance, troubleshoot machines, and support sales/assembly/procurement.

Provide frontline phone and email technical support for customers, troubleshoot equipment and processes, coordinate with service/engineering, manage support cases, produce technical documentation, attend training and occasional onsite shadowing, and provide after-hours and rotating phone coverage.

Support HMLV engineered-to-order manufacturing by driving ERP (Epicor) excellence, DFM, operational analytics, and continuous improvement to improve throughput, reduce costs, and enable accurate quoting and capacity planning.
