Drive enterprise and mid-market acquisition sales across a specified territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, product demonstrations, technical evaluations, managing complex sales campaigns, aligning solutions with customer needs, closing new-logo opportunities, forecasting revenue, and coordinating with technical, executive, legal, and deal desk teams. The role requires strong enterprise sales experience in open-source, SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure software, consistent quota attainment, executive presence, and business planning skills.

Leads a cloud engineering team responsible for Redpanda Cloud, BYOC, Serverless, and Agentic Data Plane initiatives. Owns roadmap delivery, operational excellence, incident response, SLOs, and day-two operations while partnering with Product and customer-facing teams. Coaches, develops, hires, and retains engineers; translates product priorities into engineering plans; manages risks and dependencies; and drives reliable, high-quality launches across distributed cloud services.

The Solutions Engineer partners with sales to qualify and close opportunities, deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, lead proof-of-concepts, prototype integrations, and address customer objections. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve adoption. Candidates should understand streaming infrastructure, Kafka, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, and be willing to travel for customer meetings and events.
