Paid 12-week engineering internship in Sonoco’s Consumer Packaging America Division in West Chicago, Illinois. Interns complete hands-on manufacturing and engineering projects, participate in plant tours, network with leaders, and receive feedback. Candidates must be enrolled in an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s program and demonstrate technical aptitude, leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Previous manufacturing or functional internship experience is preferred. Housing, activity, and relocation support are provided.

The Account Representative will manage direct sales in the Midwest, focusing on Poly and Water-based coating solutions, building customer relationships, executing account strategies, and analyzing market intelligence for growth.

The Industrial Electromechanic performs maintenance on various systems, improves plant reliability, troubleshoots equipment, and participates in continuous improvement efforts.
