Supports special engineering, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and related initiatives. Assists with technical tasks across systems, environmental, structural, electrical, manufacturing, conveyor, piping design, product management, and field services departments. May support on-site installations and collaborate within engineering teams. The internship may lead to an Associate Engineering position after graduation.

The Associate Engineer completes a one-year rotational training program across Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering, Field Service, Product Management, and Supply Chain. Responsibilities include reviewing mechanical systems for ash-handling contracts, assisting with contract drawings, coordinating with electrical, structural, and piping/conveyor design teams, supporting field installations, and completing technical tasks under senior engineering guidance.

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, monitor and expedite engineering deliverables, analyze schedule logic and critical path, report project performance, coordinate document control, assess delays and recommend recovery plans, and support Project Management across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

Lead UCC's mobile equipment program: develop sales pipeline, drive proposals and contract execution, coordinate with field sales and partners, support project delivery with stakeholders, represent UCC at tradeshows, and recommend equipment investments. Regular travel to customer sites and collaboration across finance, project controls, engineering, and operations.
