About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy Sales Intern to join our team! You will be assigned a Direct Manager who will ensure you have the mentorship and high-touch guidance you need to succeed. This is a role designed for someone who values transparency, enjoys variety, and takes pride in being a "go-to" partner for our Sales and Account Management teams.

Duration: 9 Weeks (Monday, June 8 – Friday, August 7, 2026).

Compensation: $20.00 per hour.

Location:  River North Office 

Hours: Monday - Friday  40 hours per week 

Sponsorship: We are not able to provide employment sponsorship under any circumstances

Job Description

  • Gain hands-on mastery in Sales operations and database continuity.

  • Learn and shadow the end-to-end B2B sales process within a specialized SaaS company serving the Senior Living space.

  • Research potential targets in Senior Living for our ALIS software and create new contacts and companies for outreach.

  • Take independent ownership of HubSpot database cleanliness to ensure our sales engine runs smoothly.

  • Assist in building out sales processes and managing Senior Living technology workflows.

  • Perform Excel-based work for prospecting and lead generation.

  • Clean up and maintain the HubSpot CRM to ensure data integrity.

  • Identify and document new opportunities in the prospecting phase based on deep-market research of potential targets.

  • Help define and build out steps within the internal sales process.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business (Marketing, Management, Sales, IT, General Business, MBA, Operations, or Logistics).

  • You have a natural inclination for leveraging technology to enhance processes.

  • Prior experience or comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), prospecting platforms, and spreadsheets (Excel).

  • You enjoy crafting professional emails and managing sensitive outreach with warmth and professionalism.

  • You possess the ability to complete tasks independently with a high level of follow-through.

  • Must be enrolled in a college or graduate program at the time of application.

  • Must be able to provide proof of enrollment through a background check.

  • Must be local to the Chicagoland area during the duration of the program ( no relocation assistance is provided).

  • Must be able to work in person for at least 20 hours per week.

  • Must be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship.

  • We cannot sponsor interns under any circumstances.
