Your Responsibilities
As a Pega Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will:
- Be an active member of an Agile software delivery team working with DevOps principles;
- Work with your team and other delivery teams within the product to establish strong software design, data design and loosely coupled Architectural alignment in a complex application environment;
- Transform and continuously improve solutions to meet or exceed the product's specifications of availability, quality and user experience;
- Drive product innovations and new software functionality leveraging the cloud and other industry leading technologies;
- Root cause, debug and fix highly complex application issues and prevent recurrence initiatives within the CCMS Product's code base.
- Up to 30% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
What Skills You Need
- 5 years of experience in use PEGA PRPC to provide comprehensive solutions and to improve business processes
- 5 years of experience in use PEGA PRPC to build PEGA Unit test cases and unit test suites to automate test scripts effectively and efficiently in DevOps
- 4 years of experience in use GitHub actions and Jenkins for the continuous implementation and deployments for DevOps
- 5 years of experience in agile methodology, techniques and frameworks
- 4 years of experience in create a sustainable code base by establishing Test Driven Development by using Selenium to automate test execution
- 5 years of experience in use extensive database (SQL / Oracle) techniques to improve application performance and provide solutions for reporting challenges
- 4 years of experience in use Java and HTML to provide customized solutions in building web applications
- 5 years of experience in design and development on Webservices (REST and SOAP based) and Web Service Security Development of APIs and reusable components
- 5 years of experience in ability to design and automate business process using Pega Tool and design the Reporting features for business users including sending reports via email
- 3 years of experience in ability to deploy Pega Application to higher environments by packing all the required and necessary rules using Pega deployment manager or other necessary dev ops tools
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience.
