The Analyst, Chief Investment Office Program is an early career opportunity designed for individuals interested in investment management and portfolio strategy. Through rotational assignments across the CIO organization, associates gain experience supporting investment research, client portfolio management, business strategy, and portfolio solutions. The program offers exposure to investment professionals, formal skill development, mentorship, and senior leadership engagement while building the analytical and business acumen needed for a successful career in asset management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

• The Chief Investment Office Rotational Associate Program is designed to develop future investment professionals through broad exposure across Nuveen's investment platform. Through rotational assignments, associates gain experience supporting investment research, portfolio management, investment strategy, and business initiatives that contribute to the firm's investment process and client outcomes.

• Associates work alongside investment professionals to analyze markets, evaluate investment opportunities, support portfolio and research initiatives, and contribute to strategic projects. The program provides exposure to multiple asset classes and investment disciplines while helping associates develop strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.

• The program includes formal development opportunities, mentorship, senior leader engagement, and financial modeling training designed to prepare associates for long-term careers within investment management.

• Investment Research (Municipals, Taxable Fixed Income, Equities, Private Placements, and Global Fixed Income)
• Client Portfolio Management
• CIO Business Strategy
• Portfolio Solutions
• Infrastructure Investments
• Nuveen Green Capital
• Important Information:
• Rotational assignments are based on business need and organizational priorities.
• Exposure to multiple areas of the CIO organization is encouraged; however, specific rotations are not guaranteed.
• Associates remain within the CIO pathway throughout the program.

• The rotational program is (2) 12-month rotations.
• Anticipated start date of July 2027
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S., and not require current or future work visa sponsorship to retain authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
