About the Program


At MPS, our interns are more than participants; they are contributors. Our internship program is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in the modular power infrastructure industry while helping you build the foundation for a successful career.

MPS's Summer Internship Program is a paid 12-week experience designed for students who are ready to take the next step in their professional journey. Throughout the summer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain valuable exposure to engineering, manufacturing, and project execution within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

WHAT YOU BRING TO MPS


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Rising junior or rising senior status preferred
  • Previous internship or co-op experience a plus

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exposure to CAD, BIM, engineering analysis software, or technical design tools is preferred but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and engineering concepts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Work is performed in office, manufacturing, and project-site environments with varying noise, lighting, temperature, and activity levels.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, typing, and computer use; occasional bending, carrying, pushing, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment and compliance with site safety requirements may be required in manufacturing or field environments.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
