Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer Analyst to design, develop, test, implement, and support SAP ABAP applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with functional analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP solutions while adhering to development standards and best practices.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support SAP ABAP applications.
- Collaborate with configuration analysts to understand business requirements and translate functional designs into technical solutions.
- Create technical design documents, program code, and unit test plans based on functional specifications.
- Perform unit testing to ensure business requirements and technical designs are fully validated.
- Evaluate multiple technical approaches and recommend optimal solutions.
- Develop solutions that align with the overall SAP application and technical architecture.
- Design applications with scalability, performance, recovery, and long-term data storage considerations.
- Reuse and enhance existing code where appropriate to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Develop modular, reusable, and well-documented ABAP programs.
- Apply proper data modeling techniques when designing new data structures.
- Follow source code management, transport, and development standards.
- Debug and resolve functional and performance-related issues.
- Participate in on-call support for critical production issues as required.
- Ensure security, authorization, and data sensitivity requirements are incorporated into application designs.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong experience converting functional requirements into high-quality ABAP code.

- Enhancements
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating technical designs and unit testing.
- Ability to independently develop complex applications.

- Experience facilitating technical discussions with business users, architects, and management.
- Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Build is a plus.
- Experience with SAP ERP SD, MM, and FI development, configuration, and integration.
- Experience working with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP HANA.
- Experience with mySAP.com solutions.
