Job Description SummaryAs the Academic Program Manager - US & Canada for GE Healthcare, you will drive several new thought leadership programs including managing and implementing a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Framework in close alignment with marketing, the business segments and regions.
The role includes program development concepting, input, implementation and measurement, cross-organizational collaboration and relationship building with external partners. This role requires a passion for deeply understanding the healthcare landscape, a strategic mindset, and exceptional program management expertise.

Job DescriptionResponsibility: 

  • Key Opinion Leader Framework Oversight

  • Lead the implementation of the cross-portfolio KOL Framework throughout USCAN through optimized program management processes and best practices to support KOL identification and engagement objectives.

  • Provide training, tools, and guidance to internal teams to ensure adoption of KOL program processes.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of engagement strategies tailored to KOL needs and business objectives.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the US & Canada region and global teams, driving alignment on processes and KOL-related initiatives. 

  • Define, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of KOL program initiatives. 

  • Drive adoption of innovative solutions to improve program effectiveness and scalability. 

  • Thought Leadership Program Coordination

  • Assist in concepting, planning and execution of annual innovative thought leadership programming including budgeting, interfacing throughout the organization, external communication, performance tracking and evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, engineering, science, or related field, or equivalent experience in the healthcare, medical device field

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in program development and management or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment 

  • Demonstrated experience managing KOL programs or related activities in healthcare

  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Chicago location preferred

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and KOL engagement strategies in the US & Canada region. 

  • Experience working with global and regional teams to harmonize processes and achieve shared objectives.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $128,000.00-$192,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
