Amyx is seeking an Access Control Integrator/Business Data Analyst III to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) by analyzing, developing, and maintaining access control requirements, role definitions, access policies, and identity governance processes supporting enterprise applications and mission systems.

This position serves as a functional liaison between application owners, cybersecurity personnel, ICAM engineers, developers, program leadership, and government stakeholders to ensure access requirements are accurately defined, documented, governed, and implemented. The Access Control Integrator is responsible for leading role engineering and access policy efforts, supporting application onboarding activities, developing integration and connector requirements, and helping ensure consistent and scalable access management across the AMPS environment.


The role also contributes to AMPS modernization efforts and future initiatives by gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and functional requirements that support identity governance, enterprise integrations, process improvements, and evolving Department of Defense identity management objectives.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and implementable access management solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements supporting AMPS Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) services.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between application owners, stakeholders, and technical teams supporting application onboarding and integration efforts.
  • Develop and maintain role-based access models, access policies, role definitions, and governance documentation for enterprise applications.
  • Define access requirements, approval workflows, business rules, and connector requirements supporting application integrations.
  • Create process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Support identity governance, access certification, compliance reviews, and access management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to support implementation, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Support AMPS modernization efforts and strategic initiatives through business analysis, requirements development, and process improvement activities.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and stakeholder deliverables while ensuring accurate and timely completion of assigned work.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Sensitivity Level: Non-Critical Sensitive
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3/T3) determination prior to onboarding
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, enterprise architecture, identity governance, access management, systems integration, or a related discipline.
  • Expert experience working with the Department of Defense Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA).
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models, access policies, or governance processes.
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders to define access management, onboarding, integration, or system requirements.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and implementation guidance.
  • Experience creating process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, access control matrices, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting enterprise architecture initiatives and governance activities.
  • Experience using MEGA HOPEX or similar enterprise architecture tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience supporting access governance, role engineering, entitlement management, or identity governance programs.
  • Experience working with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), or similar identity management platforms.
  • Experience onboarding applications into enterprise IAM/ICAM solutions.
  • Experience developing connector requirements, integration specifications, and application access models.
  • Experience supporting access certification, entitlement reviews, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and compliance activities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise modernization, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense enterprise identity initiatives, Zero Trust concepts, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal government customers.
  • Experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or modern software delivery environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CBAP, Security+, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or identity and access management certifications.
