Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.

YOUR ROLE:

The Account Director is proficient in coordination and leadership, demonstrating high potential in core business leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. You will partner with and own the relationships with client stakeholders, serving as an advisor and partner at senior managerial and marketing/category directorial levels. You are an agency driver who works to keep the agency operations moving along, motivated by driving excellent results consistently. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting presentations for executives, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, and impactful.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Partnering

    • Strategically build client relationship trust and effectively facilitate, negotiate, and drive scopes of work for accounts.
    • Responsible for overall client satisfaction and service/product quality.
    • Understand client business and ensure QBRs and strategic business reviews are set.
    • Lead QBR reviews with key C-suite clients and internal agency stakeholders.
    • Partner with VP, Account Leadership and SVP, Client Partner to build and drive the macro engagement roadmap and sponsor discrete engagement strategies.
    • Communicate powerfully, be credible, and engender trust with executive clients.

Crafting Presentations for Executives

    • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations tailored for executive audiences.
    • Ensure presentations are clear, concise, and effectively communicate key messages and strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and insights for presentations.
    • Utilize storytelling techniques to enhance the engagement and understanding of the audience.

Great Work: Our Product

    • Provide a clear north star for all work on an engagement.
    • Hold creative, strategy, data, technology, and other delivery teams accountable to deliver and course correct as needed.
    • Build strong working relationships with department leads and staff.
    • Provide critical insights during deliverable (strategy, creative, data, tech) reviews and play a major role in selling the work.

Being the Connector: Building, Leading, Mentoring, and Networking

    • Mentor internal team to deliver excellence, setting high talent standards, developing, coaching, and mentoring talent.
    • Identify, attract, and retain top talent.
    • Hold accountability for deliverables and engagement impact from departments and course correct as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in account management, particularly with a focus on digital and CRM. Experience in data/technology consulting a huge plus.
  • Strong mid to senior-level client management experience, with the ability to navigate complex client organizations.
  • Experience in direct marketing/advertising/digital marketing.
  • Strong experience and comfort-level with martech platforms and previous CRM experience.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written skills.
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  • Experience in managing financial growth on individual pieces of business.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring qualities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
