Role Overview

We are hiring a Strategic Account Director to drive new business growth across employer, payer, and public sector markets. This is a quota-carrying, hunter role focused on building pipeline, leading consultative sales cycles, and closing new partnerships.

You will work closely with the VP of Strategic Partnerships while maintaining clear ownership of your pipeline and deals. The ideal candidate brings strong outbound prospecting experience, a track record of closing net-new business, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive new business opportunities from prospecting through close
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound efforts and strategic targeting
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs and position tailored solutions
  • Manage full sales cycle including presentations, proposals, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Engage and influence multiple stakeholders (HR, benefits, clinical, finance, executive leadership)
  • Partner with the VP of Strategic Partnerships on high-value opportunities while maintaining deal ownership
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities within prospective accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ensure a seamless transition of closed accounts to Client Success

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience (SaaS, digital health, or benefits solutions preferred)
  • Proven track record of generating net-new pipeline and closing business
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align solutions to business outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
  • Experience selling into employers, payers, or government organizations is a strong plus
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
