About the Role

We are looking for an Account Executive that will spearhead SewerAI’s sales initiatives targeting municipal utilities, contractors, and consulting engineers within the Western and Eastern United States. This role demands a proactive and results-driven professional adept at nurturing client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that align with those needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SaaS sales within the construction or civil engineering sectors, with a keen ability to negotiate and close deals that contribute to our growth and market presence. *We are looking for candidates located in or near the Chicago area.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract and retain Western and Eastern-based Customer Type.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and closing.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding customer trends and requirements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions precisely meet customer needs.

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets by expanding customer base and fostering growth within existing accounts.

  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.

  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and market conditions to inform sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably SaaS in the construction, civil engineering, or related industry. Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 | OTE $200,000
