Field Sales Role at a Remote Company (Various U.S. Markets)

About the Role
We’re hiring an Account Executive to help expand Clipboard Health’s footprint in the healthcare staffing industry. In this role, you’ll drive customer acquisition and market expansion by meeting directly with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care centers. You’ll be responsible for developing relationships with administrators, directors of nursing, and other decision-makers to show how our platform solves their most urgent staffing challenges.

This is a high-impact territory sales role where you’ll own your market end to end. You’ll spend most of your time in the field visiting customers, identifying opportunities, and closing new business. You’ll bring insights from your market back to the broader team and help shape our go-to-market playbook as we continue to scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new healthcare facility partners across your assigned territory
  • Conduct in-person meetings and product demos with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care operators
  • Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement, acting as a trusted advisor to decision-makers
  • Develop a deep understanding of your local healthcare landscape, competitors, and market trends
  • Create and execute a territory plan that drives consistent new business growth
  • Document customer feedback and share insights that inform sales strategy and operations
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates in our CRM to support clear reporting and collaboration

Who You Are

  • One to five years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • The role requires you to be in the field 4 days per week and have access to a reliable car.
  • Motivated by in-person selling and comfortable spending most of your week visiting customers in the field
  • Strong communicator who can tailor messaging to different stakeholders and facility types
  • Organized, adaptable, and eager to test new strategies to win market share
  • Comfortable driving regularly within your assigned region and able to manage your own schedule effectively
  • Naturally curious, resilient when faced with rejection, and driven by measurable results

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
  • Insurance benefits + 401k options
  • Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays
  • Mileage reimbursement or travel stipend for field work
  • Remote-friendly structure (when you’re not in the field)
