Our team is excited to find an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to join our Corporate Affairs practice. You will contribute to strategic communications activities across a range of clients facing complex reputational challenges and opportunities. Your expertise will be integral to every aspect of client strategy, providing counsel and innovative solutions to build and protect their reputation capital.

The Corporate Affairs team at Burson is at the forefront of reputation management. We blend deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge data and analytics, creative storytelling, and digital expertise to deliver measurable results for our clients. This position can be based in Washington DC, New York, Chicago and Pittsburgh.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work directly with client teams and practice leadership to execute digital and social communications strategies that address critical communications challenges and opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis, including stakeholder mapping, social audits, and reputational risk assessments, to inform strategic planning.
- Contribute to compelling social strategies and develop social messaging that resonates with target audiences and enhances client reputation.
- Creatively identify ways to support media relations activities in a digital space.
- Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and other client deliverables.
EXPERIENCE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS:
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or a related field, agency experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of reputation management principles and best practices.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Experience with measurement frameworks and defining success of digital programs.
- Experience with digital and social media platforms; specifically LinkedIn, Meta, X, and TikTok.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and results-driven.
- A team player with a positive attitude.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between:
$35,000—$85,000 USD
