Yokogawa is currently searching for a Account Manager.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the indirect and direct sales channels for assigned Analytical products and solutions by providing expert level technical and application support. Complete initiatives outlined in the Annual Product Business Plan and meet or exceed the revenue goals.

Duties/Skills:

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Maintain expert level technical knowledge for Analytical Products and relevant competition.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge for the application of Analytical products or solutions for target industries.
  • Drive indirect and direct sales in developing and winning customer opportunities.
  • Engage directly with selected Target Accounts in territory to develop new and existing business opportunities.
  • Continuously develop the technical competence of our indirect and direct sales teams.
  • Develop solutions that position our portfolio to address specific customer needs and differentiate us from our competition.
  • Actively engage YCA / YHQ product management to ensure regional requirements are included in the Field Instruments product development, service, promotion, and inventory plans.
  • Lead and execute initiatives and promotional plans with indirect and direct sales channel.
  • Actively engage YCA Product Marketing to define and improve messaging, marketing collateral and sales tools.
  • Partner with and support channel partners and the proposal team to ensure accurate and value differentiated proposals are presented to customers.
  • Review bid packages, complete product selection and assist with project negotiations.
  • Develop a comprehensive proposal to include pricing, technology selection, and clarification of order requirements.
  • Support customers by answering inquiries regarding contract provisions, interpretation, and modifications and coordinating customer visitations.
  • Ensure that all order/project requirements are met by interfacing with other departments including engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and finance.
  • Follow through on new business opportunities provided by YCA demand generation group.
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate and influence others to meet your business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal/communicative skills (both written and verbal).
  • Must convey a professional, competent image.
  • Technical knowledge of process analytical products or solutions offered by Yokogawa or similarly engineered products or solutions
  • Travel – 50%.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Technical Field such as Engineering or in Lieu of degree 5-10 + technical experience in related field

Travel: up to 30-50%
