Account Strategist

OVERVIEW

Masterworks is seeking a highly organized and proactive Account Strategist I to support our clients. This role is designed for an early-career professional looking to build experience in integrated marketing, client service, and fundraising strategy within an agency environment.

The Account Strategist I will play a critical role in the execution of client campaigns, managing fundraising strategies, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of client engagements. This role requires travel to clients and key events up to 10% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service & Account Strategy 

  • Work to ensure seamless client service delivery.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including presentations, status reports, and campaign updates.
  • Participate in client meetings, document key takeaways, and track follow-ups.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal teams to ensure alignment on client priorities.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
  • Foster and maintain reliable partnerships with clients through regular interaction, effective troubleshooting, and a sincere commitment to their organizational goals.

Campaign Execution

  • Develop strategies and coordinate the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, email, and direct response.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, creative, production, analytics) to advance campaign deliverables.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all outputs.

Data & Performance 

  • Assist in compiling,  organizing and facilitating campaign performance data.
  • Develop reporting materials and performance summaries.
  • Identify and escalate key trends or variances in campaign results.
  • Conduct market, audience, and competitive research as needed.

Professional Development

  • Demonstrate a strong interest in marketing, fundraising, and client service.
  • Actively seek feedback and apply learnings to improve performance.
  • Develop a working knowledge of agency processes, tools, and client verticals.

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-ready presence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing channels and campaign execution preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, including google sheets.
    Working knowledge with project management and AI tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships included).
