  • Estimated annual base pay: $74,240 (minimum) - $92,800 (midpoint) - $111,360(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you are an Accountant II, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Accountant II is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This position involves analyzing financial data to support decision-making and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Assist in special projects, system upgrades, and initiatives that align with organizational goals including our SAP S4 implementation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage accounting processes, leading to the complete, timely and accurate reporting of financial results for the specific responsibility area and in compliance with established internal control guidelines.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and accruals related to cash, liabilities, revenue recognition, royalty and commission for multiple plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts and other financial records, including bank reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

  • US Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) required.
  • US Master's Degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in Business preferred.
  • 2-5 years in accounting and financial experience that includes progressively more complex assignments or projects required.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis
  • Ability to effectively navigate change and ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with strong written and oral communication
  • Skilled use of computer software, systems and tools: Microsoft Office, SAP, Business Applications
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, standard costing preferred.
  • CPA a plus
