The Accounting Specialist 2 is responsible for maintaining financial records, managing payroll, and providing financial insights, within a collaborative environment.

ALFA is hiring an Accounting Specialist 2 to manage accurate financial records. This fast-paced role promotes skill development and career advancement, within a company valuing integrity, innovation, unity, and humility. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data.
- Manage and process payroll, including taxes and deductions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with at least 2 years in a junior position.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Sage and Netsuite)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and French
